I. EPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE

The facility includes a wide range of process equipments to for the commercial production of 25 M.T under cGMP Guidelines. The block is approved by the U.S.F.D.A. This block consists of

Fermentation Section
Extraction Section
Hydrogenation Section
Synthetic & Pharma Section
 
Ephedrine manufacturing block is fully equipped with Glass lined and Stainless Steel Reactor with a capacity ranging from 350 lts to 2000 lts capacity reactors. The reactions can be conducted at temperatures from starting -10oC to +120oC. Every reactor is provided distillation and refuse provision.

The reaction block handle the reactions like corrosive, hydrogenation, acidification and crystallization etc. For corrosive reactions, scrubber is bing provided

FERMENTATION SECTION

We have both sterile and non-sterile Fermentation facility of 270M3 with seed tanks neutrals and Pre-fermentors along with cell separators of alpha level centrifuge separators and well designed down stream section.








EXTRACTION SECTION

In the Extraction section the three counter current extraction columns are available with continuous evaporation system.
 
The counter current extraction columns having the capacity of 8 to 10 Kl and the evaporation system capacity is 4 – 6 Kl per hour.

HYDROGENATION SECTION

We have got Hydrogenation facility which will operate at a pressure of 6.0kg/cm2.

Crystallization & Centrifugation

The Pharma crystallization & centrifugation are provided in clean Air Handling System of 100000 class as per cGMP guidelines

Blending, Packing provisions are provided in the cleaned area as per cGMP under Air Handling System.
