PORTIONING AND STACKING SECTION
 
Automatic chip stacking and portioning system:

The flavoured chips are now ready for packing the chips are transported using conveyors to the automatic chip stacking and portioning system. The portioning and stacking system collects the rows of potato chips, makes the portions and fills the cans. It also possible to change the weight of the portions by means of manually set devices

A set of belts conveys the empty cans to the filling stations and another set of belts collectes the filled cans and transports it to the can-cooling tunnel. The can-cooling tunnel is consists of a tunnel, ventilation systems and conveying system with plastic chains. This system cools, through forced ventilation, the product already in the cans.

 
Check-weigher:
These cans are then transported to check weigher consisting of a conveying belt installed on loading cells and electronic microprocessor system for management of various functions and a pneumatic deviator to eject cans out of tolerance are automatically rejected and put out of circulation.

Automatic seamer:

The acceptable cans are conveyed to the automatic seamer, equipped with nitrogen gas injection device mechanical cover marker and electric control panel. The machine is used to apply covers (Lids) Cylindrical cans. This unit is capable of reaching a maximum capacity of 400 cans per minute, the actual capacity varies according to type and dimensions of the cans.

The packed chips are stored in the storage area inside the main building.
